What is life?

Our universe is generally characterized by the de-concentration of energy and the loss of order. Across billions of light years and over billions of temporal years, this loss-full trend called Entropy has been the rule. And it very likely will be the rule far into the future.

Fortunately, once in a (very long) while, the general trend gets interrupted by a brief anomaly in which the right interaction of energies and materials produces a radical departure into...order, beauty, symbiosis, information, replication, evolution – a punctuation mark of order and harmony and resonance in the midst of an eternal run-on sentence of blah blah blah.

Life is signal in a universe of noise.
